Inedia

The inedia diet is based on plant-based foods, mainly including fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds. Some people may choose to practice inedia for religious, ethical or health reasons. While inedia has its supporters, some worry that such diets may lead to nutritional deficiencies because they do not include animal products, which may lack protein, vitamin B12, iron and other important nutrients. Some inedians claim that ineding has physical and mental health benefits, including increased energy levels, weight loss, improved digestion, and a stronger immune system. However, this claim is not supported by sufficient scientific evidence. Before trying inedia, it is recommended to consult a nutritionist or doctor to ensure you are getting enough nutrients and to understand how to balance your diet to meet your body’s various nutritional needs.
